Who is Stroud Electrical?
As a local electrical company in Stroud, our heart lies in the heritage of the area. Founded in 2009 by Paul and Caroline Chater, Stroud Electrical Services carries on the family legacy of the renowned local business, Stroud Mowers, taking its name from Paul’s father’s long-standing enterprise. Paul began his career in 1992 as an apprentice at R Lewis & Co, gaining hands-on experience and technical expertise. Over the years, he has contributed to major projects with companies such as Mitie, Lorne Stewart Facilities, and Neptune Building Services, including a new-build hospital in Pershore, the refurbishment of Weston-super-Mare Football Club, as well as luxury apartments at Gloucester Docks, and industrial units across Gloucestershire.
Starting as a one-man operation, the business has grown into a team of nine professionals, each bringing valuable skills to the work they carry out. Our partnership with Stroud College also demonstrates our eagerness to train the next generation of electricians offering apprenticeships with comprehensive training and real opportunities for future success.
